My Roots

I was born and raised in Bellingham, Washington. Throughout my 20s, I embraced a nomadic lifestyle, working seasonal jobs across the West, Alaska, and Hawaii. My upbringing, which involved spending time outdoors and riding horses, fostered a deep love for nature that has since evolved into passions for snowboarding, mountain and gravel biking, and camping.

My appreciation for the American West deepened during a year-long journey in my AWD Toyota Sienna, traveling from Alaska to Mexico. This experience led me to explore Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands, as I sought secluded camping spots away from crowds. It also sparked my interest in learning about America's public lands.

I adhere to a "less is more" philosophy and find beauty in minimalism. My work is heavily influenced by the vast, open spaces that are often overlooked but where I feel most at home. Like these landscapes, my work is in a constant state of change and evolution.
